Target Will Offer Halloween Costumes For Kids With Disabilities For 2019

As Halloween enthusiasts, we all know that our favorite holiday is the most civic-minded and now, we can claim it to be the most inclusive.

Target stores has unveiled a line of Halloween costumes for children with disabilities, which allows them the opportunity to take part in the festivities with costumes that are comfortable, easy to wear and adaptive to kids who are otherwise left behind in brand marketing. Now and in the future, hopefully, it will be optional for parents to scramble to resort to DIY methods of costume creation as other major retailers will take note, and most assuredly follow suit.

Can I get a hoo-rah!?

What’s more, Target knocked it out of the park by going beyond the costume itself, to create ready-made options for the wheelchairs themselves that match the character of the costume. For now, the four costume styles are the princess, pirate, unicorn and shark. Best part? Each costume is under $30, with the wheelchair accessories (sold separately) option pricing around $45.

This all-inclusive approach can be celebrated by all of us as we see Target’s creative Halloween outside the box thinking, bring enthusiasm and joy into the everyday lives of ALL kids who wish to celebrate.
